IW:LEARN WebGIS Demonstration Site

Welcome to the Demonstration Site of IW:LEARN's WebGIS Module.
IW:LEARN WebGIS Demonstration Site
IW:LEARN's WebGIS Module is the geospatial component of IW:LEARN's Website Toolkit. The WebGIS Module allows maps and geographic-related data (e.g., ESRI shapefiles) and information to be readily integrated into project websites.

The aim of this Demonstration Site is to show the capabilities of the WebGIS Module. In addition to the main WebGIS map display, this site also contains information on how to install and use* the software, and an online forum.

*As a GEF IW project, UNEP/IW:LEARN offers free hosting, and website design and development services for projects adopting the Website Toolkit.

Now integrating with Google Maps and Google Earth...

PrimaGIS also allows users to generate KML files to display information through Google's latest map viewers. For example, view the latest GEF IW projects to implement IW:LEARN's Website Toolkit in:

Google Maps google_maps_icon and Google Earth google_earth_icon .
